Teenage years are the most formative of any individual’s life. This not just brings the pressure of fitting in but also many other unexpected challenges.

During these times young people need a strong support system to always fall back on. When they don’t have that they feel alone and confused and more lost than ever. It should be the responsibility of every parent to keep a check on their child’s wellbeing and reassure them that they would always be by their side. At this stage of life communication needs to be the best with the children in order for them to realise how important their families are. They won’t need to seek validation from outside, or other people when they would be getting it from home.

At the end of the day all any of us is looking for is to feel seen and heard.
